About Lucy O'Donoghue Consulting
Lucy O’Donoghue has over 20 years experience with a strong record in new business development, media relations, event and project management, marketing, communications and social media.
A native of Cork, she has held several senior positions as Membership Development & Public Relations Manager at Cork Chamber of Commerce, as Alumni Officer at University College Cork (UCC), as Information Officer at the European Information Centre and in the Media Office at UCC and as Co-Ordinator for the UCC IGNITE Programme.
Since founding the business in 2012, Lucy has worked with a diverse range of clients in the public sector, in third level education and with SMEs and start-up companies in recruitment, accountancy, law, fashion, jewellery design, food, education, electronics, project management, financial services and retail.
In addition to managing Lucy O’Donoghue Consulting, in April 2019, Lucy was appointed Manager of the Exxcel Programme at the Rubicon Centre, CIT. Exxcel is a 6 month, part-time programme supported by Enterprise Ireland and designed for females who have a business idea with high growth and export potential. Ideas can include ventures that are Science, Technology, Engineering and Technology (STEM) related.
Lucy’s combination of excellent organisational skills, strong interpersonal skills and meticulous attention to detail enable her to build credible relationships with key stakeholders ensuring important objectives are met on all projects for clients.
Lucy is a results driven professional who will develop an integrated plan to help you to communicate and engage with your customers more effectively whilst creating awareness of your products and services and increasing brand awareness amongst your target market.
Lucy has a BA in European Studies from University College Cork and a Masters in European Integration from the University of Limerick.
Lucy is a member of Cork Chamber of Commerce, the Public Relations Institute of Ireland and Network Cork.
She was elected Public Relations Officer for Network Cork in 2015 and is an approved Mentor with the South Cork LEO office.
