About Lucy

Since founding my consultancy in 2012, I have been passionate about helping businesses at every stage of their journey, from start-ups and growing SMEs to established organisations. I work closely with clients across a wide range of sectors, providing expert support in strategic planning, mentoring, marketing and communications, project delivery, business planning, grant applications and award submissions.

With a proven track record across the public, private and education sectors, I take a hands-on, results-driven approach to every project. My focus is on delivering tailored strategies that drive growth, create impact and ensure successful outcomes on time and within budget.

Experience You Can Trust

I have a degree in European Studies from University College Cork (UCC) and a Masters in European Integration from the University of Limerick. Following a Schuman Scholarship in the European Parliament in Luxembourg, I went on to hold senior roles with Cork Chamber (Membership Development & PR Manager), UCC (Alumni Officer) and at the European Information Centre (Information Officer).

  • In addition to running my consultancy since 2012, I managed 3 cycles of the Exxcel Female Entrepreneurship Programme at the Rubicon Centre, MTU. I mentored 32 female entrepreneurs as they explored and developed their business ideas. I have also delivered evening classes at the Cork College of Commerce.

  • As an approved mentor with numerous Local Enterprise Offices and previously with the SFA Mentor Work Programme, I am proud to support businesses with practical guidance, fresh perspectives, and proven strategies.

  • I have facilitated female entrepreneur mentoring programmes for South Cork Local Enterprise Office and regularly provide advice and support through Business Advice Clinics, organised by several Local Enterprise Offices.

  • I am qualified as a LIFT Ireland Facilitator, trained to lead small LIFT roundtable discussions. I’m also an active member of the Ballincollig Business Association and Network Cork and regularly mentor third-level PR students.
